Shakespeare’s celebrated play Macbeth is a tale most foul, of witchcraft, deceit & murder!  However, the story of the real King Macbeth is a very different tale indeed.  So why was the first king of Britain so delighted with Shakespeare’s wonderful fictional masterpiece?
